What youngster doesn’t like adventure? The church library’s latest book for young readers is “The Charlevoix Greats” by local Christian author Martha Robach. Set in the beautiful lakefront town of Charlevoix, the tale is narrated by an idealistic 12-year-old who wants to be like King David, especially when he finds himself up against a couple of Goliath goons who are trying to steal a neighbor's paintings and jewelry. His realistic relationships with his smooth-talking younger brother and the school bully add to the fun. Martha, who lives in Wyoming, has been a guest at the UMW coffee.
